A CS3240 Interaction Design Group Project
by Liaw Xin Yan, Sun Ruoxin, Wu Lezheng, Anunaya Joshi and Michelle Kang

Project Overview

The creation of CastingCouch is the result of a difficult design process that followed a user-centric design methodology taught in the CS3240 module as part of a group project. In this design portfolio, we will provide a detailed account of our design journey, including the context and reasoning behind the decisions we made, in 5 stages.

Empathise

Discussing the design problem we identified and how our research into existing products on the market confirmed our findings.

Define

Explaining our user study methods and present our key findings.

Ideate

Describe our ideating process, detailing the design choices we made throughout the different iterations of CastingCouch.

Prototype

Walking through our initial low-fidelity prototypes to our final interactive prototype.

Test

Sharing the feedback we received from rounds of user testing and refinements made.
