The Ideation Process
In this stage, we generated a wide range of ideas and explored potential solutions for our three key user tasks.
We used techniques like brainstorming, sketching, and rapid prototyping to explore different possibilities and evaluate potential solutions.

Scenarios and Storyboarding
Before we conducted rapid prototyping, we created scenarios and storyboards for each user task to help us generate ideas and visualize how they might work in the real world.

A scenario is a narrative description of a hypothetical situation or use case, while a storyboard is a visual representation of a scenario, typically presented as a sequence of sketches or drawings.
Brainstorming: Crazy 8’s
After creating scenarios and storyboards, we had a clearer idea of the screens that we would require in our design.

We decided to use a fast-paced design thinking exercise known as Crazy 8's, where we rapidly developed 8 distinct ideas for a complex component, in 8 minutes.

In our attempt, we had 3 iterations of designs for each complex component or screen. After each round, we checked our design ideas against each other and discussed the strengths and weaknesses of each design.
This process was very valuable as we bounced ideas off of one another for every round, and combined the strengths of our designs from the different possibilities generated.

We also attempted to prototype some viable designs quickly on Figma for some of the components to visualise how it would look when assembled on the full screen. From there, we decided on the best design.
